Melania Trump Wears Roland Mouret to Meet South Korea’s President and First Lady

Earlier tonight in Washington D.C., Melania Trump embraced her role as First Lady in greeting South Korean President Moon Ja-in and his wife Kim Jung-sook at the White House. Dressed in a blush pink sheath by Roland Mouret and Christian Louboutin’s patent leather stilettos, Trump returned to her straightforward, ladylike style.

The subtle color palette stands in stark contrast to the sunny yellow Pucci print Trump wore on Monday to welcome India’s Prime Minister Modi. Indeed the look was far closer in mood to the pink J. Mendel frock Trump donned for Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin’s wedding this past Saturday. The undulating peplum detail took the place of a waist-cinching belt, a styling trick that the First Lady has relied upon for several public appearances.
